Dr John Nolan

About us

John qualified as a dentist in June 1980 and worked near Sandwich in Kent for six years. On his return he took over his present dental practice at 19 Summerhill Road, Glasthule (a short walk from the Sandycove and Glasthule Dart station). His father, Dermot Nolan, was also a well-known Dublin dentist, who was President of the Irish Dental Association. Coming from a large family John also has a sizeable family of a son and four daughters, so he is very comfortable in the family practice he took over.

John has also been involved in many committees over the past 25 years and was President of the Metropolitan Branch of the Irish Dental Association in 1994. He is currently serving as Dublin representative on the General Practitioners’ Committee of the Irish Dental Union. He served as a negotiator with Government departments for many years.

In his spare time John is a keen golfer, playing in Grange Golf Club in Rathfarnam, and he likes a bit of indoor football from time to time.
