Case 1
Before: This patient had loose teeth as a result of gum disease, which caused bone loss around the roots. She had also developed unsightly spaces, which affected her smile.
After: After cleaning the teeth a tooth-coloured material is applied to the teeth to build out the unsightly spaces and hold the teeth together and stabilise them. This technique is called composite tooth splinting.
Case 2 - Crown/bridge work

Before: Here is a patient who had unsightly teeth and missing teeth in the front of his mouth. As you can see from his facial hair he did his best to hide this appearance.
After: The teeth adjacent to the spaces were reduced and shaped. An impression (or mould) of these preparations was sent to our dental laboratory, where porcelain fused to precious metal bridges were made, which are cemented over the prepared teeth.
Case study 3

Before: This patient had missing front teeth and the remaining front teeth were quite prominent.
After: The adjacent teeth were reduced and shaped. An impression of this was sent to our dental laboraory, where a porcelain fused to metal bridge was constructed. The finished appearance is shown above.
Case study 4
Before: This patient was missing his lower four front teeth. The two teeth on either side of this space were prepared for bridgework.
After: The patient's finished bridgework in place.
Case study 5
Before: A more complicated restoration case after preparation of the teeth.
After: The finished smile!
Case study 6
Before: This is a patient missing one front tooth. The canine tooth behind it was prepared for a two-tooth bridge.
After: This is the finished appearance.
